Welcome to the web site for teachers attending the 2009 Summer English Program at Yingtan, Jiangxi Province. Below you will find files from our presentations during the My Country and Yours lectures and other related presentations and material. We will be adding to these during the SEP program as presentations are given. Download anything you wish; they are there for you to use in your teaching.

Phonetics
This is a link to a website at the University of Iowa. The website has animated
diagrams for each vowel and consonant in the English language. It also has sound
files so you can hear each sound, both separately and in example words.

Simple Wikipedia Simple Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia designed for children and adults learning the English language. Its explanations are simpler, and use simpler English, than the normal Wikipedia online encyclopedia. Recommended by Bob.
